GOOD EVENING! (I'm practicing) So if cost was not an issue, is there anywhere in Csted along the entire boardwalk length going all the way down either Church Street, King Street, Company Street or anywhere near that area were you can pick up any, and I mean any grocery type needs??? Say milk, spring water, cereal? No good selection is needed and marked up prices are fine. I just cannot seem to find anything labeled as a convenience type store and I am looking at several maps (including the one ordered from VI Traders of course, lol) and I remember reading about people needing grocery trips out of Cstead. Well, I am only there for 4 days and 3 nights so it's not like I need a lot of things. Just a few things. On a side note, I know some of the mainland liquor stores have these types of things in a small little corner (soda, water, bags of different snacks, OJ, again, whatever). Well I see that the Baci duty free store is like in a perfect location. Does anyone know if they even have a tiny section of these items, or are they alcohol, watches and cigars only??? THANKS!
You're doing well - keep it up and you'll fit right in. We were there at Christmas and I don't remember seeing any convenience stores on the boardwalk or right downtown. As I recall Schooner Bay Market is about 7 or 8 blocks from the Fort (an easy walk). They had a deli and a good selection of groceries. This link gives you information about the market and a map on where it's located.
SWEET! Great start! Thank you very much, uihwki!
The time we stayed at the Holger Dansk, near the sea planes, I walked to Schooner Bay Market. The last time I was there, they had a good deli but not cheap.
