Hey everyone...just thought I'd let you know that there are some great deals out there right now. I just checked and American is offering San Diego to STT for $503! LAX to STT was the same, I think....SFO was $488. It's really hard to find such cheap fares from the West coast...so there you go!

It's funny that you should post about deals on AA because I spent the better part of today looking for tickets to fly STT to SFO (San Francisco) at the end of July and return a couple of weeks later and fares START at $900 per person, even with flexible travel dates, mid-week travel and over thirty days advanced purchase! I've long suspected that the "deals" only work for round-trip flights originating from and returning to the states.

There are some fares on Orbitz for a 13 night stay, STT to SFO, for multiple dates in late July for $603 pp plus tax for a total of about $680.00 - not the $488.00 - but not the $900.00 either. Just thought you might want to give them a try.

Yeah...I'm kind of a nerd...I should have mentioned that the fares were for August. Yay hurricane season, lol.
I think my brain is fried from my excitement that I actually get to travel down there this year.

I entered the "flexiable dates" button and entered that I wanted a trip for 12-14 nights between the dated of July 25th (I think is what I entered) and August 24th and a whole load of available dates came up - you can play with the start and stop dates as well as the number of nights to give you the best deal.

It seems many airlines are running specials now. If you check flights after midnight, they will refresh and have cheaper prices until they sell a certain number. Lots of tricks to get low prices if you have the patience! 🙂
