My family will be going to St. Thomas for a week in July by seaplane from San Juan. We were planning on staying at Bluebeards for one night but tried to make reservations today and they are sold out!! Isn't that unusual they are sold out this far in advance? I read somewhere that Wyndam had bought them. Are they closing for renovation?
Also, does anyone have any suggestions for one night on a Sunday night in Charlotte Amalie? We are staying at a villa the rest of the time. THANKS!

There is Emerald Beach Resort by the airport - nice beach - reasonable place.

The Holiday Inn is close to downtown & pretty nice. We didn't end up staying there though because we were with a group that needed better conference accomodations. We stayed at the Frenchman's Reef Marriott and it was WONDERFUL. But, it's only accessable to downtown by taxi or water taxi. And taxi's are expensive on St. Thomas.

Try Crystal Palace B&B. Good rates, close by and Ronnie loves having company 🙂

Island Beachcomber is clean, nice and cheap too. Right on beach by airport. We have stayed there several times.
