Yes, they are always in need of experienced drivers to haul water in water tankers, cement trucks, moving vans. But be prepared, driving on St. Thomas especially big trucks isn't for the faint of heart. Steep grades, hairpin turns, dirt and rocky roads. It will test your driving ability especially once you get out of the town area. I used to make deliveries for St. Thomas Foods back in the early 70's, it was fun driving those big trucks at 18-20 years old, especially when the breaks went out.

ok thanks yea i have driven those type of roads grew up in the mountains of south west- virginia just havent been able to find any job postings. need to work another 8 yrs before i can retire why not the islands thanks sam
Unless you have spent quite a bit of time in the Islands, I can think of a lot of reasons why not. This lifestyle isn't for everyone. Retiring here can be quite costly compared to the states.
Let me add here as not to sound like a negative nellie, that people can retire in the islands on a fixed income and not be wealthy. But u will have to be realistic about your wants versus ur needs.
If ur willing to live on a lot of rice and beans, rent or buy as small a house as u can live with and forget about those on suites, and drive a island hooptie as well as minimizing all those niceties that make life a little better.
ok thanks didnt see any there but like to thanks for all the help so far also drove for a limo company. airport and parties but
