I am thinking of having a catholic wedding in St Thomas but can't get photos of the churchs? Can someone help ?
No picture, but you can't beat the Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral. Lots of marble and murals and it's air conditioned!
I have outside photos of Sts Peter and Paul Catholic and also St Anns church in Frenchtown. BUT, you can actually see the wedding photos from someone's wedding at Sts Peter and Paul here:
oooppp! Lost the link. Be back in a minute with the link...
Ahh, here it is:
If that link doesn't work, I guess you have to access from the home page - viweddingphoto.com and scroll down until you see the Janczak-Spieles wedding photos link on the right side of the page. I had to give an e-mail address to view the photos, but I used the address I use for spam mail.
The views from St Anns are better, but the inside isn't that attractive.
Congrat Bride,
You can try Catholic Islander for pictures. They have a old issues with lots of pictures it is just a matter of scrolling trough all of them.
Also here is a link to the Diocese of St Thomas
And finally here is a link that shows a couple pictures of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Mission in STJ. The link also has the checklist of what you need to do for a Catholc Wedding in the islands.
The mission does not look like much from the outside... But lovely inside. One of the highlights of going to islands for wife and I is Mass at Our Lady.
Once again Congrats!
Holy Family has a website and it has photos and video: http://www.holyfamilyvi.com/. There is info. under Sacraments about getting married... how far in advance you need to contact them before the set date and so forth.
