Good Day!
Has anyone out there had experience with food in carry ons for flights from the mainland to STT? We are more concerned with fruits and veggies for our week in the sun. Are there any comments on "The Fruit Bowl" in STT?
Thanks!!8-)

The only fruits/veggies which I crave from the mainland are real peaches, real tomatoes and real corn picked fresh and brought here in season by kind friends! Otherwise we have an abundance of fruits and veggies at the supermarkets which are shipped in weekly with some even flown in, both regular and organic. The Fruit Bowl always has an excellent selection.

Some people like to bring in meats, particularly specialty cuts and prime cuts which are more expensive here but I wouldn't bother bringing in fruits and veggies.

We always bring fresh blueberries in our checked bag because they are about 3 times as expensivse on St. John. We also pack our favorite coffee.
