Hello

We are staying on St.Thomas and trying to decide whether or not to spend a day on St. John....Problem is - - I've heard it is Carnival there now and pretty crowded...

Can anyone tell me if that is accurate? What would you suggest for a day trip there?

thanks,

Kim

Downtown Cruz Bay will be crowded on Saturday, because of the parade and fireworks. There are also two ships in St Thomas on Sat, so there will probably be cruise passengers at Trunk Bay on Sat. Those should be the only two places on St John that will be crowded. You could go to Coral Bay and probably avoid all the crowds.

the parade starts around 12:00 St. Thomas time. Get there early as there will a lot of people. If you don't like crounds then look at it on TV.
