I have not rented Casa Contant. However, I can speak highly of Caribe Havens. Nancy is very demanding that the properties she manages are in tip top condition at all times!!! You will find her very friendly and informative.

I have stayed at Casa Contant twice with my husband and daughter, once in 2000 and once in 2003. The fact that we returned speaks for itself -- we loved it and it was perfect for our needs. The sunset view over the Caribbean is exquisite. The same beautiful view is available from the shower in the bathroom. Only one room was airconditioned when we were there -- the second bedroom -- and it was necessary for all three of us to sleep in that room because of the heat. If you will be in St. John before the summer humidity sets in, this may not be a major factor. The dipping pool is pretty tiny, the house is simple but lovely, with a fairly large deck, a small lawn, and nice landscaping outdoors and plants indoors. It is 5 minutes from Cruz Bay. This is not a luxury home but the price reflects this, and we found it quite charming. Our second time back, we could have stayed somewhere more luxurious, but returned to Casa Contant because of the breathtaking view from the deck. It is private, although a caretaker family lives below the house in a separate residence. We never would have known they were there.
