I have narrowed it down to 3 car rentals on st john for us.

Conrad Sutton
St John Car Rental
Cool Breeze

We are coming in May. Which one has the best lot to park in when we are in Cruz Bay?

Cool Breeze only has space for 2 or 3 cars I believe so one of the other 2 if that is the main reason you are renting 🙂

Conrad Sutton although in May parking might not be that difficult to find in general

just an fyi
St john car rental has hours of 9 am till 5 pm, so make sure this will work with your ferry schedule.
Also St John Car rental has a policy that they do not guarantee you can pick up a car at 9am. The policy is it will be ready by noon on the day you have reserved. In my experience it has been at least noon.
Conrad will pick u up at the dock and drop you off and have much more flexible hours to accommodate your ferry schedule.
St John car rental has newer vehicles, but conrads have always been decent.
all the rates are pretty close to the same
good luck

We have been planning our trip this spring, and both our villa owner, and property manager told us that the time of arrival is important in your decision. Some companies do not work well with after hours. In most cases, after hours is after 6:00pm. We have the issue of arriving after 7:00 pm, and our villa property manager is helping with securing the rental before our arrival.

Hi. We have three families coming to St John. One at Maho Bay tents, one at Harmony Studios (maho bay) and one at westin... 3, 4 and 4 for family size. We are trying to figure out how to best get from STT airport to our hotels and leave ability to go to town for dinner, explore other beaches. Does anyone have suggestions for car rental, taxis, shuttles, etc??

thanks,

Sue

you will not regret renting three vehicles, some distance between the three venues and it will cost you $$$$$ if you just use taxi's, unless you can catch rides then you are oft times waiting for one to come along.

Your best bet rent three vehicles.

We have had good experiences with Cool Breeze. I believe they have worked with us for after hours. I think they will leave the key under the mat, but be sure and check with them.
