Hi everyone...
And thanks for the recent info you have given me regarding car vs scooter rentals on STT.
I wondered peoples opinions if this is a good rate.. (seems so to me)....
$223 for 1 week at Discount ...for a 4 dr caliber car (economy)...I do believe this is
off-site of airport. I don't think I can get much better...

I used Discount for our jeep rental last month and found them to be the least expensive by $75 - 200 dollars based upon a fairly comprehensive price check of jeeps. They are across the street from the airport road, call them as you wait for your luggage and they'll be along about 10 minutes later. Very pleasant. Jeep no better or worse than other rentals we saw on St. John, but they didn't have big rental stickers on them, which I appreciated. They have a manual rental process, meaning you'll be filling out forms with them, and it is a small operation, so plan 15-30 minutes to get your car, about 10 minutes to check out, but I thought is was worth the savings.

Thanks for the input... i really appreciate it. ... in all my research this is the best I can come up with. I assume once you drop off the vehicle at the end....they will shuttle you back to the airport as well. Or is this walking distance>?
They'll drive you back right away...you could walk the 1/2-3/4 mile or so down the road, but I don't think you'd want to!
