I am still hoping to find out it it is easier to take the car ferry to St. John on a weekday or a weekend. The weekend will be Memorial Day Weekend. Trying to plan out my stay and what day to do the BVI!

I used the cruise ship schedule to plan my days between St. Thomas,St. John and our BVI trip. Here is the web page I used to find out the cruise ship schedule. You just plug in your dates and it will give all the ports. Look for Virgin Gorda too because The Baths would be crowded on that day.

Thanks again. I did check & unfortunately the Windjammer which I know does the BVI cause I almost did for my honeymoon years ago has not posted what days they will be there. It says TBA. Not many ships are in St. Thomas the last week of May. When are you going?

Dawn,
Don't forget that Windjammers usually only have about 125 people aboard, so it's not like a regualr "Cruise" Ship.

Also, the Windjammer schedule is very fluid. They go within an area, but don't promise specific days and stops. I think they anchor in North Sound when they are in Virgin Gorda, but I am sure some people would go over to the Baths.

Thank you so much for the link to the cruise ship schedules. We will be staying in St Thomas from April 1-8th and plan on doing some day trips to other islands (& the BVI) This will be vey helpful in planing our days away from the busy ports and avoiding cruise ship tourists!
