We will be on St. Thomas the first week of Sept. I have read some previous comments about some changes with the car ferry to St. John due to national security. What if anything has changed since March of this year? Is the boarding of the ferry any more organized or is it still mass confusion? Are they doing any kind of inspections or checking of ID's?

No change in the car ferry. Still mass confusion as you say. The security changes are on the people ferry dock.
