Has anyone used this airline? Their schedule allows an earlier arrival from San Juan and a later departure to San Juan. I would connecting w/ American Airline in San Juan.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Yeah.. they fly 9 seat Cessnas but otherwise they're good. They check bags through AA so you don't have to pick them up in San Juan.

Thank you Dominic! A little hesitant about it being a 9 seater, tho'. Will have to think this over. Anyone else want to lighten my hesitation?

I took Cape Air in May. Thinking about flying on a 9 seater is more frightening than the actual flight. We had absolutely no problems. Up and down in under 30 minutes. My friend sat right next to the pilot!

Starfish, That made your friend the co-pilot. I'd be concerned if Sue was next in command. LOL.

While I must admit some initial concern about flying small planes in general (especially over water) out trips have been added extras in their own right. We have flown during the day and at night with each experience different. The plane is certainly cramped compared with a 'standard' jet but you are able to see everything. This is certainly not possible from the small porthole of the 'standard' jet. During the day, we were enchanted by the colors of the water, islands and clouds. You fly among the clouds rather than above them and they take on a completley different character at that altitude.
We flew at night near a full moon and it lit the water up while highlighting the cloud puffs. It was a treat to see how far one could see and trying to spot cruise ships along the way.
If you suffer from motion sickness or fear of tight spaces I would not damper your vacation by flying Cape Air. However, if you do not have these concerns I would definitely consider them when arranging the best itenerary and treat the flight as an added bonus.
Another option is to fly the sea planes of Seabourne. Small again, but the added 'thrill' of taking off and landing on the water. Not a foreign concept at all.

Thank you all. I do feel a little better about the flight.
