Hello!
Wife and I are headed to St. John 6/15-6/19 (wed - sun.) We are wondering if there are certain hot spots on certain nights? I plan on visiting Woody's etc. I believe someone mentioned Fred's on wednesday? Any other can't miss bars/nightspots? Thanks.

We've been to SJ 3 times to stay for the week, and always like hanging out at The Beach Bar. View is great, sometimes live entertainment, but is just as fun without. Bartenders are pretty good entertainment there.

Where are these two spots? We haven't been in 5 years, are they new?

Karrieb,

Woody's is right in Cruz bay by the Ferry dock.

No, the other two places- Beach Bar and Bartenders. I've been to Woodys and Freds. What places can you dance at? We think we danced at Freds but aren't sure. Anybody know if you can dance at Shipwreck Landing at night or any place near the Coral Bay side? How about at some of the hotels in town? We aren't staying there but may want to "dress up" (shoes and non-wrinkled clothes) one night and go do dinner and dance if its outside. We did so at Le Meridien on the french side of St Martin last year- poolside dinner and dancing barefoot next to the pool, very cool!

I think they were saying that the bartenders at the Beach Bar can be entertaining. The Beach Bar is in Wharfside Village.

Good name for a bar though!

Duffey's has dancing- cool!! We have only been there for lunch with our kids in the past so it looks like we have some options for the evening- thanks! Nothing however will beat our first trip 20 (!) years ago when a steel drum band played on the wharf near the ferry and we got to dance to some fine reggae right next to the water- I wonder if that's still a possibility??
