Howdy: Me again....

We are getting pumped for our trip. We will be leaving in just a little over a week. Next week is our last week before we start being on vacation!!

I have yet, another question: Will it be possible to see The Southern Cross in the nighttime skies?

I've never seen it before and would like to see it.

Thanks!

Good Question.

St. Thomas is at 19.2' N Latitude, you can only see it pass 27'N and not really all year until passed 20'N. I think its high time is around May. I would say you can, but I don't know. Hope someone does.

Someone asked this question on another forum and got some replies, go check it out. It's on the www.caribline.com forums. Go to May 6th and 7th threads.

St. Thomas is actually 18.2 deg.N, and yes, you can see the Southern Cross if you have a nice view of the southern horizon...
