WOW! I never got out there but is Vessup beach really that beautiful in person??? If so, will you get towed/booted for parking? Oh, and yes, I was flipping through the wall papers and September really caught my eye! 🙂

Sorry Islander, I had to bump this up because it is just driving me nuts and actually could have a big impact as to where I stay on my next visit 🙂

Again, sorry to keep asking, but does Vessup Beach really look as good in person as the September wallpaper? Even just half as good? The picture is amazing!

Vessup gets very busy and noisy on weekends as lots of locals congregate.
Pretty quiet during the week, tho. Parking is along the side of road and no facilites on the beach such as tables, bathrooms, place to get food or drink. I think there are other much nicer and prettier beaches with and without facilities but just my opinion.

If you stand at American Yacht Harbor and look out to St. John, Vessup will be on your right. If you can find your way to Latitude 18, you are pretty much at the closest end of Vessup.
