Can anyone recommend a restaurant in Charlotte Amalie that makes good bushwackers?
It's been awhile since I was there and I want to tell a friend.

Thanks!

The 19th Hole has the best!!! Its not a restaurant but is a little bar right under the blue "Royal Dane Mall" sign on the south side of Main Street. Gene (& his wife Harriet) are the greatest!! I know you wanted restaurants but Gene's bushwackers are wonderful!!

The Greenhouse uses ice cream as a substitute for some of the liquor! Check it out on their menu, it gives the ingredients.

The bushwacker originated at Paradise Point and IMHO has the best on the island. The Blue Moon has second best. I have tried them all over the island (when on island it is my only drink) and I stand by my statements.

Wedding Planner: Any place that puts ice cream or any non-alcoholic ingredient in its Bushwhacker is not worth visiting! 😉 In town, the bartenders at Cuzzin's make a pretty mean Bushwhacker as well as many other inventive drinks!

The bushwacker originated at Paradise Point???????

I was drinking bushwackers/bushwhackers here almost a quarter century ago, way before Paradise Point was even thought of. Amazing how such island stories gain credence... Cheers!

I hear people rave about the Banana Tree Grille bartender Jenna making the BEST bushwackers. I never had one there but I have been there when she has served them and she always get positive comments.

not even a little chocolate syrup to make it look pretty

Me - I like a dark tonic and very light on the tonic, but a bushwacker makes a nice dessert...

Okay, as long as it isn't an ingredient! 😉

I agree with JudyK....the 19th Hole has the best bushwhackers. Gene and Harriet are wonderful people too. Two bushwhackers and you'll have a good buzz.

These very drinks are called Colorado Bulldogs in the south and all kinds of things everywhere else. I seriously doubted they originated at the Point, or even here for that matter. STT Resident has a great point. Only I can do without all the chocolate laced through the thing, just makes it, sprinkle a lil nutmeg on top and enjoy!

Okay, I looked up Colorado Bulldog and it has Coca Cola in it. The deal with Bushwackers is that they are *supposed* to be all alcohol.

TomB, I can't tell you how excited I am to stop at the Beach Bar and have one of those Bushwackers. I've sent that picture onto everybody that's going with us in May...how good are they?

I do not know the name of the resturant but if you take the skyride to paradise point, those drinks are the best
