I know this may sound dumb, but where can I buy a bundt pan. One of the people coming on our trip makes the best rum cake and she said she would make me one while we are there for my birthday. We are coming to celebrate my 50th. We are staying on STT our first night and then going to STJ for a week. I emailed the agent I rented our villa from and he said there wasn't one at the villa. Should I just bring one from home or can I buy one there?
Thanks

Probably at K-Mart. But, you could get one of those soft silicone ones that roll up and then you could bring it with you (they are very lightweight). Give it to the person baking the cake as a "thank you" and then she can bring it home (lol - but they are very lightweight). Try HSN, QVC or on eBay. I got mine in a silicone set from HSN, have used it and it works great. I like the muffin "tins", too, and have brought those with me to a villa to make breakfast muffins.

Happy Birthday!

Thanks for the "thank you" idea. I think I will do that. I've used the silicone muffin pans before at my daughters and they worked just fine. Again, Thank you.

35 days till paradise!!

Or, you could borrow one from someone on the board (like me)...mine is actually a springform pan, so it can do bundt, hearts, etc., etc.....

Thanks so much for the offer Marty but I've already taken care of it. The people on this board are sooo sweet. I can't wait to get to STJ. We have 31 days. Maybe some of you could join us for my birthday. Right now we are planning to go to Zozo's for dinner on Feb 23rd. Unless any of you have other suggestions. We are open to anything, nothing we plan to do is set in stone. We will take it one day at a time.
