Hi,
I was told that there is now a bridge connecting St Thomas to St John. Is that true??
Thanks
No.
Maybe you're confusing it with, "The Bridge To Nowhere" in Nadir on St Thomas.
The only one I am familiar with is the occasional rainbow variety. 🙂
God I hope not! That would ruin St. John!
I thought there wasn't a bridge either until the guy I play hockey with who dives there said he was positive they have a bridge now. Thanks for the correct info!!
No, there's no bridge. But there is a tunnel that only the locals are allowed to use.

He's either taken one rap too many to the head with a puck or else hasn't been decompressing from his dives properly.
Bassman - BAD Bassman for spilling the beans on the tunnel. When next I see you, you will be punished.
Is it still the case that you drive backwards through the tunnel going to St, John and frontwards coming back to St. Thomas?
As far as I know that's still the case although I recall that there was some discussion in the Senate a couple of months ago about reversing it.
That bridge will be completed when they complete the bridge from Miami to STT.
I ccan'e beleive that you would ask such a question.

He asked because someone who he thought knew about the islands told him it was so. At least he asked before spreading it around and looking like an idiot!
Seriously, the only way to get to STJ from STT is by boat, and that will probably be the case for probably a few more decades.
If the Senate (US or USVI variety) are involved it will be decided on whether you lean to the left or the right. Either way the public gets it right down the middle.
Can you tell I need a vacation?
If you come to Massachusetts, don't believe the tunnel to Cape Cod stories either. Its so funny to hear outsiders ask about that one since Cape Cod Tunnel bumper stickers still exist.
