I stayed at BVC this past January. It was a bit of an enigma. On the plus side, BVC is located at Peter's Bay, perhaps the most exclusive location on STJ. It's in the midst of the islands most beautiful homes and beaches, with stunning vistas. The downside....because Elsa was running this rustic facility alone with only volunteers to assist, the cleanliness of BVC was based on who the volunteers were on any given week. I saw both ends of the spectrum in my 17 day visit. One thing for sure. If your budget was an issue, BVC cost about half as much as any other low cost option on STJ.
