Even if you could find a Cuban cigar, they are illegal to bring into the US.

Kind of funny, when I took a cruise to the VIs and PR a few years ago, on the way back to Miami we had a shipwide announcement. There was going to be a cigar party on the deck one night. Reason being, you can't bring Cuban cigars into the US. Canadians on board had good news/bad news. Canada CAN have Cuban cigars...but the bad news was they had to go through the US to get back to Canada...so smoke em if ya got em.

Get caught with them by Customs and you'll be in big trouble.

Unfortunately, Cuban cigars are considered contraband and thus not available on STT. However, you can get them in the BVI. Bringing them back to the mainland is hit or miss. Good luck!

I've read in Cigar Afficionado that Cuban cigars haven't been good for years in light of agricultural problems stemming fom the messed-up Castro economy, and that the best ones are now from the Dominican Republic. I've only smoked one Cuban cigar, and that was years ago. I found it extremely spicey with no subtle undertones. I thought it was very inferior.
