I stayed there in January. It is a two story house with a permanent resident living on the first floor. It has a very large deck with hot tub and nice views down the valley and out to the ocean. There is construction going on next door that has taken away the view of St. Thomas. The hot tub was broke the first few nights and the pool is small and dirty. The villa itself is very clean and has two bedrooms separated by an outdoor walkway. Two miles is probably about right for the distance to town but it is straight up/down hill (not walkable). The driveway to the villa is hair raising. We had some billing issues and found the villa owner to be uncooperative when dealing with them. When renting for a full week it is very reasonably priced and I would recommend it. When renting for less than a week it becomes very expensive and I would look elsewhere.

Hi , I'm trying to find more info on bonbille view villa, but I'm not having much luck. we are coming to stj the end of march and are looking for something reasonable.
We want a clean room w/ private bath and would like to be on the water. We do not need living area or a kitchen, as we plan to spend most of our time outdoors expolring this beautiful island. Years ago we spent time in jamacia and the caymans and would always find a place after we got there, usually staying with the natives. That worked well for us then, but not sure if we should do that this time. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

hwki-

thank you very much for the feedback. Our family of 4 (2 teens) booked boneville for 2 weeks in Jul 07. As this is our first time in St John, we just did not know what this villa will be like.
I hope that they clean the pool for the summer, since we are looking forward to using it .
Will we need a 4x4 to get to the villa, since your comment of the driveway to the villa is hair raising ?

thank you
