We will be arriving in St. John's on 7-16 and staying till 7-24. Can anyone suggest who we can call to charter a boat to the Baths and/or other islands?

I have heard that New Horizons II out of Sapphire Marina is a great trip. I am planning on doing the same thing in August. Let us know how things work out for you.

That definitly seems like a cool trip. I ran a search and found the following page regarding the New Horizons II: http://www.bookitvi.com/horizonp.htm

New Horizons has their own web site and you can get more information directly from them at http://www.newhorizons.daysails.com/

Have a great time.

also checkwww.sailyachtnightwind.com This is a classic 50' wooden yawl that sails out of Sapphire Marina in St. Thomas and carries fewer people than some of the other boats her size.

Actually just got back and opted for the Horizon II this time instead of the Blast. Trip was "okay". Went to the Baths but you swim in from the beach and do a reverse walk through of the Baths. We did it a couple of years ago via Lymnos, Taxi from the begining and would think that if it was your first time that would be the way to do it. I didn't even go on the walk.

Had lunch at Marina Cay which was a good lunch. They do not provide lunch on the boat. In fact, it seems that even the Blast doesn't do that anymore.

Next snorkel at Iguana Island, which was good.

White Bay on Jost was for about one hour. Been there last year on the Blast and basically was the same.

General impression is again, "okay" I think that it too much in one day, but than again that is what they advertise, four stops.

I will say the crew was very good
