We went to their timeshare resort presentation the week of Thanksgiving. The pictures looked nice, but they told us there were no rooms we could view at the beach resort. They were only able to show us a room at the BlueBeards Castle location overlooking the cruise ships. That room was very nice and all tile floors. And no, we did not purchase a timeshare. The freebies were too good to pass up for a mere 90-minutes of our time. 🙂
We stayed on St John at Concordia (www.maho.org), but had engagement pictures done at the Westin. The grounds/beach at the Westin were superb, but I do not know about their rooms (if you were looking into staying on St John).

Bluebeard's has 3 distinct properties on St. Thomas, The Castle, Beach Club and some units at the Elysian. I will guess that you mean accomodations at The Castle and other than it being in Town, having two good restaurants on property (Banana Tree Grille and Room with a View) overlooking Town and the cruise ship docks, I can't help.
