Me and my fiance are going to STT and are staying at Blubeard's Castle. I was hoping some of you could tell me if this place is nice and what your experience has been like if you have been to STT.
Thank you,
Michelle

I worked for them for 5 1/2 years. What would you like to know?

I would like to know what the rooms are like-how is the staff-is it crowded in June-is it convenient to activities and such. Basically how would you rate this place because this will be our honeymoon and our first vacaation. Thanks for taking the time to answer

My husband and I stayed at Bluebeard's from Dec.26 through Jan. 1. Prior to getting there I looked online constantly at negative things about the place. I was so nervous about it.

I am here to tell you that the worrying was all for nothing. It is a nice place. The room was clean and everything was in great working order. The pool and hot tub were up and running. The two restaurants on site were wonderful. I recommended having the Chicken Cordon Bleu at A Room With a View. Terrific!!!!

The resort is located in the heart of Charlotte Amalie. However, I would recommend renting a car. Nothing is really in walking distance and the resort in located on a pretty steep hill. And there are no beaches nearby.

Like Marty told me before I arrived, don't spend time worrying about a room that you are not going to be in much. The islands are wonderful. I just recently started getting over my island fever. I told all my friends and family that if I didn't have little kids, I might consider moving there. There is nothing quite like it here in the states. The water is absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with Snorkeling.

Have a great time and Congratulations on the Wedding!!!!

The rooms are different in various parts of the resort. They go from a regular hotel room, a studio unit that sleeps two w/ a mini-kitchen, a studio that sleeps 4 w/ a mini-kitchen, a one bedroom with a mioni, a one bedroom with a full kitchen, a 2 bedroom lockout with a mini and a full, up to a 2 bedroom, sleep ten condo, full kitchen. Do you know your room #? I can describe your room exactly if you can tell me that.

June is our 'low' season, but there will be approximately 90% occupancy, as it is a very popular timeshare resort.

They have their own activity schedule, as well as what the island has to offer. Definitely get their VIP card, as it saves lots of money for you (and a free bottle of rum, too).
