Are you staying at the Bluebeards Castle Hotel in the outskirts of Charlotte Amalie or are you staying at a time share property at the Beach Club?

The castle is very close to town - you can walk there during the day, during the night take a taxi, its not far but a great idea for a group of girls. Beaches are not close - you would have to take a taxi to get to them. I think they offer a shuttle to Magens Bay but I am not sure - ask if they do. It is a nice property, I have had freinds stay there and they enjoyed there time there. There are a couple restaurants there. You will want to take a taxi to go out to Red Hook at night - good places for nightlife there and also a few in Frenchtown and Charlotte Amalie. Do a day trip to St. John thats lots of fun and a beautiful place. You might want to go parasailing or jet sking for fun day water sports. April is Carnival time usually - the schedule is not complete as yet - however you might want to go to the food fair or village if you are here when those things are going on.
