Some friends and I are going to STT in March and we were wondering what the Blazing Villas resort was like?
Is it a cream of the crop type of establishment or a dive? And how big of a spring break destination is it, because my friends and I are quite elderly and looking to avoid loud obnoxious college students who can't hold their alcohol.
Long live Frank Sinatra.
Blazing Villas are located on the grounds of the Grand Renaissance Resort, which is part of the Marriot chain. You have the use of all the hotel amenities except pool towels and you can't charge to your room. Some of the units are better maintained than others, but set up is great to give you lots of room vs regular hotel rm. Not sure about Spring breakers, usually been there in Nov, but am going in March myself this year with kids so I guess I'll find out as well. Maybe someone else can advise you on Spring Break.
Good Luck.
