I have chosen not to mail gifts to my daughter and her family in St. Thomas and have opted to send store gift cards.
I know there is a K-Mart, and Home Depot. Are there others like Wal*Mart, Costco, Sears, CVS, Walgreen Pharmacy, sporting goods, baby apparel and stuff? Would most appreciate anyone advising me of other "mainland" stores that are represented on St. Thomas that honor gift cards?!

K-Mart is the only one that I know of for sure.
Another option is to just get a Visa giftcard. I know the malls in my area (Washington DC) sell them. Banks probably do as well.
That way there are more choices for your daughter in how to use it.
There is also Officemax and Radio Shack.

I liked Richmond's idea the best, then the money can be spent anywhere! K-mart is it for any overall personal needs and we also have Maryanne's, Rave, and Chico (baby stuff).
Do the Visa gift card- all problems solved!!!!!!
