I would stay away from the Best Western especially for your honeymoon. Frenchmen's Reef is nice. If I remeber it is this coming Sept? If so better start booking soon as some are full. Try Secret Harbour it is a nice resort. Or Sapphire Beach. Either how many nights is up to you & your budget.

Hi Jen,

I agree with Island. The Best Western is the type of place that you might want to stay for a few nights if you want/need to be near the airport. It's okay, but very, very basic -- and most certainly not the type of place you would want to stay on your honeymoon.

Another thing to check into are vacation rentals/private villas. There are many on STT and STJ in all price ranges. Many, if not most, of these places have websites with pics, pricing info, etc., etc.,

Do a search on this board as well. You have probably already noticed that many people post their experiences (good and bad) with various places that they have stayed at.

BTW, I think East Ender mentioned in an earlier post that the Marriott Frenchman's Reef might be closed during your dates. I would suggest that you check with the hotel to see whether or not staying there is even an option for you. Here is a link to their website:

Good luck :)!

I believe it is the Morningstar Resort part of Frenchmen's Reef that is closed as I looked into booking a room through Marriott & could only get a room at the Reef but no Morninstar. Might want to check it out. I would rather stay in the Morningstar as it is closer to beach & not that noisy. Just my two cents.
