I am traveling with my family to St. Thomas for a week in early October for the first time. Any restaurant suggestions? We are staying at Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Marriott.
Thanks!
Jamie
Not really a restaurant but Hull Bay Hideaway bar & grill has a very down home with the locals on the beach feel. It is my favorite place to go there.
Many good restaurants on STT.
My favorites: Oceana, Hook Line and Sinker both in French town, Amalia Cafe in Palm Passage, Petite Pump Room above the Tortola ferry dock by French town, (especially if you like conch in butter sauce),
Banana Tree Grill at Bluebeards Castle, the Grill at Mahogany Run to name a few.
There really are lots of options for both lunch and dinner.
Note: A couple of the above only serve dinner. Best to check and make reservations for dinner.
The VI phone book has a section in yellow pages that shows menus of various restaraunts.

Also staying here in August, good question!
Cuzzin's on back street is very popular. Great local cuisine.
Room With A View is centrally located and has a great food and a wonderful view.
In the 19 years or so that I've been going to St. Thomas Room With a View has always been closed for vacation during the month of August. I keep saying I'll have to visit the island a different month just to try it out, since it gets so many good reviews.
