Hi,
Am visiting ST over Christmas via cruise ship, limited time in port and so much to see. Does anyone know where to get the best prices on Ipods and approx. what they are costing there? It's been my experience you don't always get the best deals. Any time saving shopping tips greatly appreciated.

Might try shopping at Boolchand's - they are located in Havensight right by the cruise ships. They had some decent deals on Bose systems (one of which we had priced here in the states was $500 cheaper there). Doesn't appear that they have a website but here's someone there to email to see if you can get an answer as to pricing - [email protected]
I believe the prices were the same as in the States. The only thing you save is the sales tax.
I've always been happy with the price I get on electronics at Royal Caribbean in downtown CA. They of fen have things before they get to the mainland stores.
Try Royal Caribbean also. Just make sure you know the price at home before you go so you can determine if you are getting a good deal. We had been looking at an Olympus digital waterproof camera for over 6 months and my DH had been researching it quite a bit online. The price at Royal Caribbean was better than the stores here and just a few dollars more than purchasing it online (but no additional cost for shipping). So he felt that he got a decent price.

You can get Ipods in the USVI for the same price as in the states? I always thought electronics tend to be more expensive than in the states.
