I'm a single guy looking to get out of NYC for a long weekend and just relax! I would rather a resort that would have few children with beaches that are best for relaxing.

I'm surprised no one picked this up yet. You need to ask any resort yourself about their child policy- some are pretty child friendly, some let you know to leave them at home so they should be honest with you. If you're talking St John, all the beaches are relaxing. You might want to avoid Trunk Bay on cruise ship days- just ask in Cruz Bay and someone will tell you. I think, but don't quote me, that the Salt Bay side of the island is a bit quieter, but maybe lots of peopel will disagree with that. Only a few days? Too bad, you'll get down there and hate to leave!

Caneel Bay....it's the best place because it's on STJ and it's geared toward the adult visitor. The kids are at the Weston, or in villas, on or St thomas.Sure, you'll find some kids at Caneel....but it's definitely the exception.
