Planning a trip for spring 2005. What is the best place to stay at with kids ages 4 to 10
on St. Thomas and on St. John's?

STT - I vote for Sapphire.
STJ - Big hotels are Caneel (never heard of families with kids raving over it) and Westin....
How about a villa? There are so many beaches on STJ there really isn't any point of getting a hotel for it's beach location because you'll want to head to a different beach each day. With a villa you'll have your on pool and a great kitchen for those hungry munchkins to grab a snack whenever....and you can head to a new beach each day and grill wonderful dinners by your pool in the evenings.

Hello Andrew,

On St. Thomas; I think Sapphire (they have a good kids club), Wyndham Sugar Bay (I believe also has a good kids program; nice large swimming pool), Secret Harbor (although quieter then other resorts they have rooms right on the beach and a floating raft in the bay and good snorkeling that might keep the kids entertained).

On St. John; if you are going with a hotel- the Westin has a water trampoline which everytime I have been there seems to be a great highlight for the kids jumping on and off of it. They also have kayaks, jet skis and other watersports your 10 year old might enjoy.
