All these jewelry stores are great but the best place to go is House of Rajah! The locals go there to get all there jewelry there!

The have the best deals and they are very honest and give good deals! Not to mention he has the best jewelry selection and the quality is wonderful!

I have always had good luck at Cardlows for Gold. Remember Gold is sold by the Gram, So have them show you the exact weight - never take the clerks word for the gram weight.

Cardow is definitely good. We went to all the stores, they had the lowest prices, and the best customer service. They wanted a sell and wanted to help you too.

try bargaining at Artistic. Tell them Mr. "Wand" sent you. He's an atty in NY who shops there a lot. I've bought a lot of jewelry. Very good quality.

Do not go to Glitter Jewelry! Our sixteen year old son bought a three hundred dollar necklace there. It has broken twice in three weeks. We had it repaired once only to have it crumble again. He took three days off last summer from work. He worked so hard and it's heart breaking to see him get so totally screwed over. This family does NOT stand behind there product. Do NOT listen to them when they tell you they do!

I havent seen anybody mention the Seven Wonders/ Diamond Palace Shopping Center. The taxi dropped us right across the street from there when we got to Main Street. This place has some serious steals on Diamonds and Gemstone jewelery( 70% off. Waaayy lower than back home in the states) and huge Gold variety, (14k hibiscus gold earrings, anyone?). Definitely the nicest sales people we have come across in a long time.. They also had everything from tshirts, local dresses, souveneirs, hard to find items, etc. I think they should rename it Tourist one stop shop instead....

I agree with pbmo. I discovered Lucky Jewelers in '94 on a girls trip to St Thomas. Max owns Artistic now-- Several trips later when I walked into Lucky's with a boyfriend, Max brought out a diamond ring, put it on my finger (it fit) and my boyfriend and I got engaged right there because we both liked the ring so much. We knew we were going to marry some day, but the engagement was all due to Max. To this day my husband thinks Max and I set him up! It was fate, or maybe I was Lucky.
