Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew the current best days to fly and which airlines to use to get to the USVI. I know that Delta used to fly non-stop from Atlanta on Wednesdays and Saturdays to St. Croix, and I believe United did a non-stop flight from Charlotte on Wednesdays and Fridays. I was wondering if there was anything similar to this, but flying non-stop into St. Thomas. I would much rather avoid stopping in San Juan if I can. Thanks!
Hello Magda,
Fares are usually less on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. On some of the airline sites you can search using the flexible option and it will show you the fare for the date you choose plus the fares for a few days before and after.

I usually start with Travelocity to see what airlines are offering the best flights after the flexible search. Then I will compare that price directly with the ailine. I pay on average $325 roundtrip from Chicago any time of the year.
Hi
I called Delta last night and hey said they do not fly to STX anymore.......can that be true?
i am going to call DELTA again.......
Magda: American flies in from Miami, US Air from Charlotte and Newark (and maybe some more?) I agree with you about San Juan! (td)
Good Day To Fly = Any day you are headed to the USVI
Bad Day To Fly = Any day you have to leave.
Sorry, couldn't help myself!

That's quite all right...I'm sure you're speaking for more than 2 of us.:-)
Curran17,
A search on Delta's website plugging in random dates in February and March +/- 3 days for STX-ATL showed flights for a few days, but not everyday.
Did you get more information on your followup call to Delta?
