*1.Are there any Beaches in St. Thomas or St. John the allows a group of 100 people to have a Beach Party?

2. If so which one and do they provide food, drinks and music?

1.) All of them, as they are all public beaches.

2.) None (that I am aware of, anyway). You would have to set up all arrangements yourself. For example, you can rent one of the 'sheds' (actually, they are cement-floored, open-aired, covered patios) from Magens Bay Authority, and have them turn on the electric, book a band, hire a caterer, etc. There are many such services available, but you would have to do the footwork yourself. I don't know of any party-planners here off the top of my head, but there must be some. You might try the Yellow Pages at www.viphonebook.com. Anyone else have some input on this?

Good luck!

1. Yes, there are some.

2. Besides Marty's idea of a shed at Magens, look into a party at Bolongo. They will charge per head for food and drinks as you wish- open bar, etc. I suspect Sapphire would do something for a group this big. Also try Hull Bay Hideaway.

Where are your 100 guests staying? I would start with the hotel concierge or planner. P.S. This is an expensive proposition, just so you know.

Magens Bay is probably your best best.

Hello Diana,

The Bolongo idea is a good one. Magens Bay also, and I believe they will arrange food/drinks but you should double check with them. The food they have at the restaurant there is beach type food, nothing fancy. The restaurant at Emerald Beach resort, which is beach front might be another place to try - I attended a beach party there a few years back that the restaurant catered. As for music - what did you have in mind... a dj? a band? On St. John, if the beach is within Park grounds you'd need to get a permit from the park to have a beach party with 10+ people... on their website they include Trunk Bay and Hawksnest http://www.nps.gov/viis/pphtml/permits.html, so don't know what their policy is on the other beaches.
