Hi Everyone,
I read today online that there are warnings to avoid some beaches post the heavy rains recently due to pollution run off concerns.
There was no mention of a specific beach.
Anyone have a clue.
We have had that on other vacations post a heavy storm for a local beach here in our town. Both to avoid the water and the beach. Is that the same in STJ, or are warning only for the water and not the sand? WE have a toddler in tow and am just thinking her.
Is there any way to know which beach and for how long , once we are in STJ?

Personally, if there is a heavy rain, I wait for a couple of clear days before getting in the water.
I've read about occasional issues on St Croix, but I haven't heard of any concerns on St Thomas or St John.
Well it won't be long now. Coming in this Saturday. I hoping for sunny weather. Not going to concern myself too much with the issue.
thanks again.
STJ.

There was actually a short blurb in yesterday's Daily News: http://virginislandsdailynews.com/news/dpnr-issues-warning-1.820569
