I have not stayed in the Beach Villa but I have stayed in the Beach Estate (last May) which is very close to the Beach Villa as they are both in Great Cruz Bay. Both are owned by Donald Schnell (Artistic Villas). Don, Deborah and Eric are great to work with and they are wonderful people. The location of both houses is great as they are close to Cruz Bay, the views are spectacular. We were able to see St. Thomas and at night the lights lit up St Thomas. The water in the bay is okay, we did some snorkeling but of course this bay does not compare to the beaches on the north shore but it was still nice to be so close to the water. During the evening we could hear the live entertainment from the Westin Resort which was really nice, not bothersome in anyway. I would absolutely recommend Artistic Villas, I am going again this May and we are staying at the Gift Hill Villa as our group that is going is much smaller than last year, otherwise we would be staying at the Beach Estate again. We really wanted to stay with one of Don's properties so we chose the Gift Hill Villa as it was in our price range. Don's properties are gorgeous! Trust me the pictures on the website don't do justice.

Just returned from St.John.........best vacation ever...stayed at BEACH VILLA.........what a great place..the owner and his staff treated our group like we were royalty....took care of all of our needs.......I want to return next time......

Not our first time there......been there about 10 times......first time to stay there (10 days) I cannot wait to return. Yes, Don and staff are wonderful to work with.
