we will be visiting St Thomas in July (Cruise) planning on a trip to Coki or Megan . Are there lockers for valuables (camera etc.) at either beach? I'm wondering about the safety of leaving things on the beach while we are in the water snorkeling. Thanks so much for a response.

There are lockers at Coral World that is right next to Coki Beach. We had to pay the admission price for Coral World (We planned on going there anyway) and a small fee for the locker. There was a cash deposit for the locker key that is refunded when you turn the key back in. We did not want to let our stuff hang out on the beach while we snorkeled because of all the people.
If you don't know about Coral World here is a link:

Magens also has lockers. Don't leave your valuables on the beach. Coki is super crowded when ships are in. It is such a small beach, so the ship passengers can make it feel like the Jersey Shore on 4th of July (beach chairs in front of you, chairs behind you, chairs aside you) . Magens is a large beach with plent of room to spread out. Most of the ship passengers will cluster themselves at one end of Magens, so you could walk down and away from them and feel less congested and have an uninterrupted view of the bay.
