Although the December Cruise Schedule is not officially out, it appears that the week between Christmas and New Year's is going to be particularly heavy.

Any suggestions for activities in STT when there are 3-6 ships in port?

Any beaches that are not usually heavily visited by cruise ship folks?

Thanks.

Hello Susan,

Popular spots for cruisers are Coral World, Coki Beach, Magens Bay, Mountain Top, Paradise Point, Downtown Shopping Area, Havensight, Trunk Bay-St. John, the various activities that are offered as shore excursions by the cruise ships (some charters, Atlantis Submarine, Snuba, BOB...).

If you scroll to the top of this page and click St. Thomas (in the blue bar, above the books) a menu will drop down. Choose Beaches. That beach guide includes photos and description - and the description includes whether the beach is popular with cruisers or quiet etc.

Enjoy.
