Hi,

Could someone tell me the name of the beach pictured on this site when you click on Water Island. It looks spectacular, but I can't seem to find another picture of it. It shows a beautiful beach and a kiosk. I went into all 4 Virgin Island sites and clicked on their beaches, but there isn't another picture like it. I've been to Trunk and this looks just as beautiful.

Thanks,
Pat

Pat,

Both pictures on the first page of the Water Island Guide are pictures of Honeymoon Beach on Water Island... if you go into the Beach Guide for Water Island - Honeymoon is listed and the photo is from yet another angle. The one at the top of the Water Island page is from the look out when you come up from Phillips Landing where the ferry docks to the turn to go down to the beach. The one thats sectioned in three is taken from the shoreline out toward the water. Its a lovely beach.

Islander,

Thanks for the information. The beach is stunning from any angle. I would love to be able to visit it one day. We will be in St. Thomas on a cruise. I think we will go to Cinnamon Bay. On our last cruise we went to Trunk Bay. It was wonderful. To me, the beaches of the USVI epitomize the Caribbean. Each is more gorgeous than the next.

Again thanks.

Pat

so is big maho beach, park across the stree and its not 20 ft to the beach. easy in, easy out. shallow for the most part. seen little shark, octopus, sting ray, tarpon an its an easy swim around the little maho for and look for little shells by the hundreds.
