Heard there's still Sunday Beach parties, but no food service/restaurants available. Is this true? So it's good for a snorkel and swim, but bring your own cooler?

The Sunday party with bands and dancing is not happening anymore - the beach is quiet and you can bring a cooler.

There is a bar/grill set-up between two of the buildings which serves up sandwiches, etc. and they have a "walker" on the beach to take orders, plus the Grapevine Grille restaurant at the top of the hill in Sapphire Village has a runner on the beach to take food and beverage orders so all is not lost!
