Finally we leave chilly Wrigelyville for St. John this Thursday.

Two quick questions:

1/ Is there a local St.John watering hole where you can watch WGN to cheer on my beloved Cubs? Just tell me the name and location and we'll join the local Cub-nation.

2/ We're hooked on the show "24." Can you get Fox locally? What time zone? Already invested 19 hours. Might as well finish strong.

Thank you much!

Even though I'm from St. Louis with allegiance to my beloved Cardinals, I'll help out a Cubs fan since I'd hope someone would do the same for me 🙂

Try Skinny Legs in Cruz Bay. I'd call it a sports bar -- many TV's and the place where most locals go to catch a game.

Can't help you on the Fox question. My advice is to have someone in Chicago tape it for you. Don't spend all your precious vaca time in front of a TV when you're in paradise!!

Yes we get WGN on regular cable here so you might get it in your villa, and Fox is no problem here either.

But drag you butt to the beach on occasion to get rid of the pale condition you speak of. LOL

Have fun! Bring some Old Style with you, and some Cinnamon Buns for Anne Sather.

Thank you for the update.

We hope to add color without bursting into flames.

When we're home on the mainland there are many things that seem important to us. Once we get to STJ, priorities shift. Television watching is one thing that quickly fades. Given the choice of going snorkeling or watching a baseball game on television in APRIL, the choice will be clear. Given the choice of watching television or sitting in a hot tub looking at the stars and listening to all the sounds of the tropical night, the choice will be clear.

If I am not mistaken Skinny Legs is in Coral Bay (out east)... There is also a nice air conditioned sports bar/pub above the Wharfside Village. I have only been there once, forgot the name.

Yes great sports bar called Captains Cabin above wharfside village. Flat panel tv surrounding the place. Yes Skinny's is in Coral Bay, and in my opinion not much of a sports bar.
