Hi, we are four 50+ yr olds interested in a day trip to Virgin gorda and JVD, that is less booze cruise and more chilled. We'll definitely enjoy a couple beverages, but really just want to kick back, enjoy the ride and sites. Any opinions on whether Bad Kitty or New Horizons would be a better choice?
How about Pirates Penny?
Pirate's Penny and Stormy Petrel (same company) each carry only max 12 passengers so might be a better choice than the larger boats:
Last time we were there we went on an excursion with our family of 4. It was a planned trip and went to the Baths, and hopped some other places. It cost us close to $1,000 for the day after paying for lunch at Pussers and drinks at Soggy Dollar. I was pricing it out for next time and realized we could Charter our OWN boat (comes with captain) through Pirates Paradse for the same and maybe less than a group excursion cost us! You may want to look into it. Have fun!
Pirates Penny is a perfect suggestion an I just booked with Nancy. Max of 12 people, a classic boat, and great itinerary. Totally excited...thank you all very much for the suggestion.
They have an excellent reputation and, indeed, are a perfect choice.
You'll have a great time. Let us know about your trip.
I was wondering if you could tell me the price for your trip?
We used Pirates Penny last March and they were great.
