Hey all, I am new to the board. My family and I will be in St.John Dec 25-Jan 1. I know most of the bareboat monohulls are booked, but does anyone have any suggestions for a good last minute booking? 30-40 ft pref. Out of Tortola sounds like the only option, which is fine. We can go fetch it then have it anchored in Chocolate Hole where we are staying/ Someone will be on the boat at all times however. I cant resist the idea of sailing around St. John and over to Jost/Virgin Gorda.....Thanks!

You seem to have done your homework. The holiday period will be much harder to "book" than almost any period.

However, (as you probably know)...there are many/many more bareboats available in the British Virgin Islands than you will find on St Thomas.

My suggestion...Get on the phone...get on the web....talk to all of the charter companies you can find. Be flexible...I bet you can find something...
