We were not going to attempt to go to Virgin Gorda because of the time it takes to get there by ferry which made me think that maybe a private boat would take a group of passengers and drop them off only .(not for snorkeling or a guided tour-just a drop off and pick up so that we can be on our own) but that moves quicker than the ferry so that it takes less time. (because of seasickness) Does such a thing exist? Thanks so much everyone!

Buzzy: You can rent a power boat with a captain and go anywhere you want for the day!

And there are a lot of power boats for rent, with captains. Some places on STT, for example: See and Ski, Nauti Nymph, Awesome Powerboat Rentals, Water's Edge, just to name a few....

Breakaway is a powerboat charter that New Horizons runs where you can pay per person and have food and drinks too. I've had a few guests use them and they do an excellent job. Limnos is a larger motorboat that also goes over there and food and drinks on the way. The smaller boats you are more apt to get seasick than a ferry. If you are looking for speed Breakaway is your best bet.

Good luck
