I'm planning a honeymoon in St. Thomas this next April and am looking for a beachside room probably on the East Side of the island. I've never been and would welcome advive on a resort or hotel that we could get a reasonable rate on a room right on the beach.
If the resort is known for the "kids club" - we don't want to stay there. Looking for a little more privacy or at least adult guests. Night life would be a plus as would easy access to snorkle/kayak.
Anything would be helpful, thanks!
Secret Harbour comes to mind...
Sappire Beach may have a Kid's Club but is easy to stay away from children. Try Pavillions and Pools - your own private pool and close to Sappire Beach. Secret Harbor is nice too.
My wife and I honeymooned at Pavilions and Pools. It doesn't have it's own night life but then again we were on our honeymoon so we had our own night life. The private pool and huge open showers were great. Besides, the night life is never far away when you're on St. Thomas. Sapphire Beach is an easy walk from Pavilions and Pools.
