I'll be at this new villa in only 32 days!!! This is the third time I've been to STJ but have never worked with Carefree Getaways or been to this villa (which is a newer construction, apparently).

I would appreciate opinions about this villa (good or bad) as well as the Gift Hill area in which it is located.

Thanks in advance.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

You made an excellent choice!

My husband & I just got back Sunday night from a 7 night stay at Cielo Vista - then a 2 night stay at Secret Harbour in St. Thomas.

Like you, we had not heard any reviews regarding Cielo Vista and were anxious to arrive.

Upon entering the villa - my husband & I looked at each other and our mouths dropped - we were SPEECHLESS!! Believe it or not - this is truly not much of an exaggeration!

Everything is spotless & brand new - the woodwork and construction is beautiful - the pool was gorgeous and all of this doesn't compare to the view!!

You will get to Gift Hill by either going past the Westin or by going via Centerline Rd. We preferred the Centerline way because there were less switchbacks on Gift Hill by going this route. But, by going past the Westin you will pass Starfish Market in The Marketplace which we found to be the best place to shop for groceries.

Carefree Getaways were awesome to deal with & the owners who live downstairs were wonderful (please say "hi" to them from Sue & Jim from MA, if you see them)!

We will, hopefully, get a trip report done this weekend, along with some photos.

Have an amazing time!! You done good!!!
