I know this is going to sound crazy (and it is, a little) but here goes. While visiting we found a dog at the shelter we want to adopt. The problem is they won’t let the dog go until it has been spayed/checked by a vet and we leave for Portland (Or) tomorrow. The shelter is willing to work with us and get the dog ready to go asap but we can’t afford to change our flights to stay unitl the dog is ready to go - which will be Wednesday June 25th.
So is anyone coming to the Pacific NW in the next few weeks that would be willing to bring this dog with them? It is a small, friendly dog that can be brought as carry on so it will be super easy. The shelter will have everything ready for you all you’ll have to do is bring the dog with you back here and we’ll meet you at the airport. I know this is asking a lot but if you’ve been to the islands you know there are more dogs than homes here and we’d like the chance to give this girl a good home. I can be contacted by email at [email protected].

Did you get the dog to the states? Maybe I can help if it isn't too late.
This also sounds crazy too, but I've had alot of luck on Craigslist.com. Post the same request there. You never know.
Good luck...I'd like to know about how you made out with the dog too!
