Try the Tamrind inn......
or a campsite.....
otherwise it won't be cheap
St John has been rated as one of the most expensive places in the world to stay....I cant remember who did the rating but the average bill is 500+ per night.

Chris,

There is no question that STJ is on the expensive side of the range, but do you buy that the average is $500+?

Maybe if you include villas intended for multiple couples, but not just for hotel or B&B rooms, right??

Well, the Westin and caneel bring the average up.....and the villas do also.....
What HOTELS?
There is only one B&B that I know of and its Tamarind Inn.
And during high season, they charge around closer to 200 than 100 a night.
No one argues that its expensive.

Estate Concordia is relatively inexpensive if you don't mind being on the Coral Bay end of the island. You can get condo units with a full kitchen, which range in size from 2- person studio apt. to 2-level unit with accomodations for 6. Also available are the more basic eco-tents. There is a pool, and gorgeous views overlooking Salt Pond Bay. Check out the web site: www.maho.org
